American Flag

Does anyone know if they make an outdoor American Flag that is durable and will last more than 6-7 months?

I put up an American flag and a Marine Corps flag about 6 or 7 months ago and they are already frayed and torn. They were embroidered and had 4 lines of stitching at the flying end but they didn’t hold up well enough. I’m sure that there has to be a way to make a flag last longer and be stronger since ships fly them in more constant wind than my front yard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

the same thing happened to mine, also. I think I got it at a chain store. The flag we replaced it with was from a flag pole company. They ordered it and it has been flying in this horrible Northern Illinois winter without a tear, fray, or fade. It cost about 3 times as much, but it looks great and I’m sure will last a lot longer. I do bring it in during high winds.
