Question about cutting cardstock with the Cricut…?

Should I get a deep cut blade, or is the blade that comes with it fine?

The regular one is fine for card stock. My card stock is mostly Stampin’ UP which is pretty thick and the regular blade is fine. For chipwood or maybe craft foam, you’d use the deep cut blade. You can also increase the pressure on the left hand side if it isn’t cutting all the way through.

I’ve learned the hard way that a good mat is critical. I’ve wasted a lot of paper trying to use a mat that’s not sticky enough anymore. Now I use my Hobby Lobby coupons to buy them. Michael’s coupons exclude Cricut products.
