What should I do when my double AA batteries die out?
Should I throw them in the garbage can?—>..though I heard if you throw batteries in the garbage, it creates pollution or mercury or something like that. So what should I do?
Depending on where you live, there may be household hazardous waste collection sites, or days of the month when you can take waste like old batteries, paint, etc to recycling centers for disposal. I would call your county waste disposal hotline, or check on their website for information/options.
