What color should I paint the walls in my living room? I have a dusty rose couch and chair and so far thats it

It’s an older building, high ceilings, large windows in the living room. There are mouldings in big squares on the walls and outlining the window/door that goes onto the balcony. My floors are hardwood (sort of a light copper colored wood) and there is a fake fireplace that is the same color of wood. I don’t want to paint the fireplace wood. The walls are white right now but I’m looking for something else. Something too drastic might make the white trim stand out too much like a dark red, but I’m not ruling it out. I’ll have a lot of plants and am hoping to use a lot of natural but bright colors for accents like sage green, turquoise, reds, and golds. I want it to be a warm/cozy environment. Will a peach color go well with dusty rose or does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks for the help!

you should play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the “painted” rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. Based on your description, I suggest a warm neutral, like “studio taupe” (#7549) so that the wall color won’t detract attention from your plants and other colorful accents.
