Fabric Bundle
Has anyone ever used fabric spray paint on a couch?
If so what are your experiences with it. Thanks a bundle!
Please only answer if you have had any actual experience, not just to rack up points.
I didn’t use it on a couch, I used it on an upholstered seat cushion for a chair. Although it is easy enough to apply, I was disappointed with the results. First, it stayed a little too stiff to be comfortable. Over time with wear, I started to notice that the paint started to wear at pressures points, like the end of the chair where people sometimes “slide” against when sitting down. I did note that when things were spilled on it, they bubbled up and did not soak into the fabric so it was easy to keep clean. But, I really found the “plastic” feel to be annoying and wound up recovering the chair with upholstery that was more comfortable to sit upon.
I have also used the fabric paint that you can brush on which you can find at craft stores. It, too, leaves a rather stiff feel to the fabric after application.
