Fabric Yard

How can I get 1 yard of fabric from an Ashley sofa that I got 4 years ago?

I ve Looked in local fabric stores/warehouses and sill no luck. (Its a suede- microfiber- ribbed) I dont want to patch it so I found an upholsterer that suggested that I replace that one side of the cushion that is damaged. How can I find the exact same fabric ? Ebay perhaps…? Ashley perhaps?

If you bought the sofa new, try going back to the store where you bought it and ask them if they can order a yard of the fabric directly from the manufacturer. Bring a cushion in with you to help with identifying the fabric. Also check the label on the sofa under where the cushions rest, or possibly under the sofa because some manufacturers put information like the fabric name or code on the label. If you still have the receipt, it may also say the name of the fabric. The store might also have that information in their records.

Even if you are able to get more of the fabric, it might not match exactly. There can be different dye lots, plus the fabric on your sofa has been exposed to light for 4 years and may have faded a bit.
