Is it better for vegetables to be packaged in glass bottles as opposed to tin cans?
I was wondering if there is a reason certain vegetables are canned in tin and some are canned in glass. Why are the italian mixed vegetables in a glass bottle? Are they ever in a tin can? Thanks.
Tin cans were used originally because they were cheap when we were in war crisis back in the 50′s and 60′s but they tend to give off a funky flavor, glass is much better but its much more expensive.
