Pot Holder

I need to paint pot holders for a class project, what is the best type of paint to use?

They are canvas pot holders and I would like to put my students hand prints on them, not sure what kind of paint to use…

At any craft store, like Michael’s or Joann’s, you should be able to find fabric paint. There are lots of varieties, but anything that’s not puffy would work best if you’re trying to do handprints.
If you’ve already got acrylic paints, you can create your own fabric paints by adding in a textile medium or other polymer additives. All of those can also be found in most craft stores.
