Quarter Bundle
Os there any reason why mainstream media player manufacturers are dragging their heels with Bluetooth?
By mainstream I’m talking Archos, Apple, Creative, MS.
I know that Bluetooth sound quality isn’t quite perfect, and it takes a toll on battey life, but the quality is a match for the poxy “earbuds” that are bundled with most players – and a bluetooth headphone/headset doesn’t fall out of your ears everytime you breathe!
Regarding battery life, I’m sure most users would sacrifice a quarter inch of pocket space to make the battery bigger if it meant doing away with those pesky wires!
Just an afterthought here – maybe they all have such players in their labs, but are waiting till they’ve sold as many wired players as they can so that those who want wirefree convenience have to buy another player from them?
The Bluetooth system has got patent on it, and unless they purchase the rights to it.
Now taking this technology to the production line is an other thing.
If as a company you would have old inventory, i am sure that you would want to sell it all before getting your new model out !
