How do i wash a teddy bear stuffed with polyester fibers?

I’ve had a brown medium-sized teddy bear from Aeropostale for 2 years
and my stupid brothers keep on dropping it in the dirt=(
how am i suppose to wash it?

My son has some stuffed toys that I was nervous washing but at one point it was either wash them or get rid of them. I was told to put them in a pillow case tie a knot at the end and put in the washer and wash as usual. For drying them same thing in a pillow case on low heat maybe only for a bit not fully dried and than hung them out to air dry.
All his stuffed toys are still in great shape, I wish my mom knew about this when I was a kid, maybe I’d still have my fav stuff toys!
